London Memories - Hult Winter Ball

I have a folder of photos on my computer called "London 2019-20 " and I like to look through it every now and then. It is full of so many beautiful memories and I love seeing how my experience here is unfolding. A picture is worth a thousand words after all.

I want to do a blogpost series of these memories as a sort of time capsule. Beginning with these from the Hult Winter Ball.

If you know me at all, you understand how much I love an occasion to dress up and take photos. It's my absolute favorite thing to do and brings me so much happiness. The smile I have on my face in these photos is 100% genuine, and I still have a smile whenever I look at them.

I think this night I spent more time on those stairs taking photos than on the dance floor, but I honestly wouldn't have changed it for anything. I am so fortunate for all the friendships I've made with the amazing people featured in these photos. I hope they don't mind that these are being posted for the whole internet to see. Just know that I chose to share the most flattering ones ;)

One anecdote I really want to mention is related to the first photo. Hands down, this is my most favorite photo taken of me probably ever. It is film shot by my friend Freddie. Some people may think "Oh how full of herself she must be to say that." But if there is one photo of you at the happiest time in your life, wouldn't that be your most favorite photo taken as well?

You don't need a degree in neuroscience to understand that I have had the time of my life since I moved to London. It has been the goal I have always strived for, so of course, it is no surprise that I have sought to live my absolute best life here. I have challenged myself to make all the memories, escape my comfort zone, and feel every feeling. And whenever I look at that photo, I know that I've accomplished that.

London, thank you for making all my Yule Ball dreams come true.
