Continuing my London memories series with the event of the school year, and it wasn't even put on by the school. And that was... Friendsgiving!
When I say that the Americans show up, we SHOW UP. Courtney and I brought the stuffing, the boys brought the Mac 'n cheese, and we somehow convinced our international friends to bring dishes as well. It was quite the spread.
Sharing our traditions with the friends who've become our London family is exactly what the holiday is about. At this point of the year too I was really starting to feel homesick. Yet, this night and these people made that all disappear. And speaking on the behalf of us Americans, our hearts (and bellies) were SO FULL. Walked away from it feeling so blessed for the entire opportunity of being in London.
